By organizing events, supporting new players, and working with local partners to expand court access, we’re creating opportunities for people of all ages to get involved. Every match played is a step toward a healthier, more connected Oak Harbor — where friendships flourish and everyone has a place on the court.

At Whidbey Pickleball Association, our mission is to promote the growth, enjoyment, and accessibility of pickleball for all ages and skill levels throughout Oak Harbor and the greater Whidbey Island community. We strive to build a welcoming, active, and inclusive environment where players can connect, compete, and grow—both on and off the court.

Our goals reflect our commitment to growing pickleball in Oak Harbor while building a strong, connected community. From expanding access to quality courts to creating opportunities for players to improve and connect, we’re focused on making pickleball welcoming, accessible, and sustainable for all.
Expand Local Court Access
Advocate for and support the development of new public pickleball courts in Oak Harbor to meet the growing demand and ensure year-round play opportunities.
Support Player Development
Offer clinics, tournaments, and skill-building opportunities to help players improve their game and foster a vibrant, supportive playing environment.
Grow Membership & Community Engagement
Encourage participation from players of all backgrounds by hosting inclusive events, social mixers, and community outreach programs.
